Driver Definitions
Note: Drivers are specialized programs designed to act as an interface between
the computer and a particular device
[Text] = Item only exists under given circumstance
• Driver# = Reference number of the driver
◊ Name = Driver name, always preceded by a period
◊ Version = Version of driver [‘vers’ Resource]
◊ Type = Type of driver [Type Known]
◊ Unit# = Position which the device occupies in the unit table
◊ SCSI# = Number of SCSI device [SCSI Driver]
◊ Status = Open/Closed
◊ Location = ROM/RAM
◊ Address = Hex address of driver
◊ Original Flags Enabled = Flags which were active when the driver was
loaded. These flags provide information about how the operating
system should interact with the driver
◊ Current Flags Enabled =Flags which are currently active
